DuPage County District 6: Larsen
In DuPage County Board District 6, Republican Robert Larsen, a Wheaton attorney, faces Democrat Dave Barry, an attorney from Bartlett, who wants to create more jobs while promoting and favoring local businesses in the bidding process.
But we endorse Larsen, who has an excellent understanding of the issues and a greater sense of fiscal responsibility. For instance, he blames both parties for the nation being in dire financial straits. He also vows to fight for pension reform and will resist any effort to raise taxes.
The district includes all or parts of West Chicago, Bartlett, Wayne, Winfield, Wheaton, Carol Stream, Warrenville, Hanover Park, Streamwood, Wood Dale and Bloomingdale.
