A map to Memory Lane

I truly enjoyed the article on paper maps vs. apps, and it brought back great memories. I purchased my first Rand McNally Road Atlas back in 1973 for a vacation trip. I was the co-pilot navigating our route across this beautiful country. It became our road trip bible, and was used regularly.

So as fate would have it several years later, I was hired for a position at Rand McNally, one that would span 27 years (in the early years, the company was still owned by the McNally family). The article brought back many good times at RMC and of my co-workers who became very special friends. It was a reminder that a road atlas would not steer you wrong.

My trusty Rand McNally road atlas is still a permanent fixture in our cars today. Thanks for the trip down Memory Lane.
