Retro-style swimsuits perfect for moms — and daughters
At last, there’s a bathing suit trend parents of young girls can get behind.
More conservative and retro-styled bathing suits are among this year’s hot swimwear trends, both for adults and young girls. Think Jane Russell or Marilyn Monroe on the beach.
Two-pieces with high waisted bottoms, body-covering one-pieces, polka dots and flower prints are all the rage right now, and are being worn by celebrities like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.
Other trends are mix-and-match two-piece suits, tankinis, and styles similar to what’s popular in clothes this season: florals, bright colors, ruffles and strapless one-pieces.
