Peterson Road to close in Libertyville

The Canadian National Railroad crossing on Peterson Road just west of Route 45 in Libertyville will be closed for about a week beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 10. The crossing will be closed for the installation of new crossing pads and repair of track and ballast. The detour will be Midlothian Road to Winchester Road to Route 45. Local traffic will be allowed from Midlothian Road to Franklin Boulevard and from

Route 45 to Industrial Drive. Peterson is expected to reopen to traffic on the morning of Tuesday, July 17.
