Letter: Get behind green energy bill

Wouldn't it be wonderful if there was a good way to move to a future of abundant sustainable energy?

There is a bipartisan bill in congress today that can transition our economy to that future using a well-established market-based approach.

Look at the Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act (H.R. 763) and ask your congressional representatives to add themselves to the growing list of sponsors of this legislation.

Known sustainable solutions will not proceed fast enough without placing a mechanism in place to reverse the impact of billions of dollars of subsidies to fossil fuel companies. We are running out of time and must act quickly to level the playing field.

A bipartisan solution can make this happen. Insist that your congressional representative make energy innovation a unifying rather than a wedge issue.
