Sky win two preseason games in a row

In the Sky's second pre-season game and its first time playing in its new home, the Sky defeated the Minnesota Lynx 74-63 Thursday morning at Allstate Arena.

Chicago's Cathrine Kraayeveld scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed a team-best six rebounds. Every other player on the Sky roster scored at least two points.

Minnesota rookie Monica Wright scored 18 points to lead the Lynx. Lindsay Whalen dished out 10 assists.

The Lynx pulled to within one point of the Sky with six minutes left in the fourth quarter before Erin Thorn sunk a 3-pointer to put the Sky ahead four. Over the next five minutes the Sky went on a 13-2 run to pull away for good.

Chicago outrebounded Minnesota 26-23 on the game and led by as many as 14.

The Sky plays Friday morning in Indiana and then wraps up its pre-season schedule Monday, May 10 at 6 p.m. at Allstate Arena.
