Candidate's concern for the people

I am writing to tell of my support and endorsement of Ben Lowe to become our representative in Congress for the Illinois 6th District.

He is a graduate of Wheaton College. Ben lives in a humble apartment near the Glen Ellyn/Wheaton border just north of Roosevelt Road. He has worked at jobs which have helped improve the environment. I have volunteered with him and others to pick-up trash along Butterfield Road. I have read his book about the environment. I have walked with him door to door to ask for votes. I have heard him discuss issues and answer questions in a reasoned and respectful manor. I have learned of his concern for people, especially the poor and less able. The way he lives, works, and campaigns is the way to a better economy and society.

He is running a campaign without accepting donations from Political Action Committees, corporations and special interest groups. Ben is focused on the people in his district and how to build it into a stronger economy and a better place to live. His top priorities include the needs of the district and the nation by creating a new economy through green jobs and supporting small businesses. He will work to modernize the immigration system. He will hold government accountable, promote fiscal responsibility, and exhibit personal honesty in politics. If we don't start doing things differently, the economy and country will continue to fail and hurt us and our future generations. I recommend Ben for congress in the 6th Congressional District.

I encourage you to meet Ben and study the issues.
