3 teens accused in North Aurora car burglaries
A North Aurora resident who bothered to call police when he saw people rifling through his vehicle helped put a rash of burglaries to an end Sunday.
“Those arrests were made possible because of an alert resident who discovered his vehicle being burglarized and then promptly called police, as well as good police work by the initial responding officers to locate the offenders, who had fled, and then to connect the dots to implicate the offenders in these crimes,” North Aurora Police Lt. Scott Buziecki said Wednesday.#147;As a result, a burglary spree was stopped and stolen property was recovered for the victims.#148;Police were called to the 300 block of Magnolia Drive at 1:13 a.m. After arresting the suspects, police determined they had burglarized two vehicles on Magnolia and one in the 500 block of Cherrywood Lane.According to a police report, the accused are:Ÿ Jacob A.
