Edward gala raises nearly $500,000
The Edward Foundation raised a record $464,000 at its 20th annual gala Oct. 16. More than 530 people attended “The Big Gig: Midnight at the Oasis” at Bobak's Signature Events in Woodridge.
Proceeds from this year's gala will help support intensive care for children and newborns.
The foundation has raised nearly $24 million since 1990 to benefit numerous departments and programs at Edward Hospital in Naperville.
The gala is the foundation's biggest annual fundraiser. The foundation also raises money through an annual summer golf outing.
