Gandhi birthday celebration in Hanover Park
The Gandhi Peace Mission is hosting a celebration of Mahatma Gandhi’s 143rd birthday on Sunday, Oct. 2 in Hanover Park.
he event, which will feature the unfolding of what organizers say is the world’s largest Indian flag, is free and open to the public. It will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Lions Park, 2437 Army Trail Road.
