Our lawmakers know wealth is power

Linda Dickey’s letter in the Daily Herald on Sept. 21 fails to identify the real reason for the voting by our legislators. They support such things as reductions in food stamps and subsidize large corporations because the corporations have untold wealth with which they buy the votes of the legislators.
