Anderson paces Grayslake Central win

Charlie Anderson scored a season-high 20 points to lead four players in double figures, as Grayslake Central’s boys basketball team defeated visiting Johnsburg 63-49 Tuesday night.

Sam Ruhlmann and Malcolm Reed added 11 points apiece, while Alex Lennartz chipped in 10 for Grayslake Central, which improved to 5-2 and 2-0 in the Fox Valley Fox Division.

The Rams led 26-25 at halftime and then outscored the Skyhawks 22-12 in the third quarter, as Anderson scored 14 points, including two 3-pointers.

Collin Ridout and Steve Dixon scored 14 and 13 points, respectively, for Johnsburg.
