Butler Lake pier to be replaced:

A fishing pier on Butler Lake in Libertyville, which was damaged beyond repair during floods this past spring, will be replaced. The Libertyville Village board authorized a contract with Supreme Seawall and Dock Design of McHenry in an amount not to exceed $24,350. Another firm had been approved to do the work last June but it did not submit the proper insurance credentials. Village officials waived the formal bidding process to authorize the contract with Supreme Seawall. Work will begin after documentation for permits is compiled and approved various agencies.
