Fall Fire 5K in Sugar Grove to help support firefighters union

On Sunday, Oct. 13, support your local firefighter’s union by running the second annual Fall Fire 5K set along the Gilman Trail in Sugar Grove.

Race-day registration will be from 8 to 9 a.m. and the race will start at 9:30 a.m. sharp. Awards ceremony to follow. An aid station will be available on the course and at the finish line.

The event is sponsored by RoadID, Twizted Images, and Midwest Misfits Endurance and Triathlon Club.

The top overall male and female winners receive a custom Fall Fire 5K trophy. First 50 registrants are guaranteed a Fall Fire 5K T-shirt.

Cost is $25. Day-of race registration is $30. To register, visit www.eventcow.org. All proceeds to benefit the Sugar Grove Firefighter’s Local 4748.
