Clerk candidate surfaces

A Lake Forest attorney has announced her candidacy for Lake County clerk. Carla N. Wyckoff, an assistant state’s attorney in Lake County, is running for the Republican Party nomination in 2014, state campaign records showed. A Democratic Party candidate hasn’t yet surfaced. The incumbent, Republican Willard Helander, isn’t seeking re-election.
