Hoffman Ests. public safety employees hold charity softball game
The Hoffman Estates Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (HECPAAA) is sponsoring its first Shootz & Ladders Softball Fundraiser: Hoffman Estates Police Department vs. Hoffman Estates Fire Department. This free event takes place noon Saturday, Sept. 21, (rain date Saturday, Sept. 28), at High Point Park, 1198 Hermitage Lane. Additional parking will be available at Douglas MacArthur Elementary School. There will be raffles, commemorative T-shirts, food and kids games. Proceeds go toward a K9 unit for the Hoffman Estates Police Department, which is estimated to cost $12,500. For more information, contact Leigh at (847) 490-0817, or lab316@comcast.net.
