Arlington Heights Police K-9 Team Places 3rd in Competition

The Arlington Heights Police Department (AHPD) K-9 Unit had a great showing in this year’s 14th Annual Seminar and Certification Trials hosted by American Working Dogs and Vohne Liche Kennels in Denver, Indiana. The AHPD Team consisting of Officer Kevin Sullivan & K-9 Layka, Officer Jim McGrath & K-9 Marco, and Officer Mike Butler & K-9 Max finished in 3rd Place overall in the Patrol Team Competition. The August event drew 104 canine teams from Law Enforcement and the U.S. Military K-9 Units across the country.
