Trapped man freed from under van in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS — Authorities say a man found trapped under a van in Indianapolis refused to tell them how it happened.
The Indianapolis Fire Department says crews were called about 2 a.m. Tuesday to a neighborhood on the city’s east side where the 37-year-old man was beneath the cargo van.
Fire Lt. Larry Tracy says firefighters were able to quickly free the man and medics took him to a hospital with leg pain.
Tracy says no other vehicles or people were involved but that the man wouldn’t describe the circumstances.
