Support fine arts at fashion show

Fox Valley Beaux Arts invites you to support scholarships for students in the fine arts by attending the annual luncheon and fashion show, “Through the Looking Glass.”

It will feature elegant, new fall fashions by Chico's & Soma at The Arboretum of South Barrington. In addition to the silent auction, this year there will be several vendors for your shopping pleasure.

The event will be Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Elgin Country Club, 2575 Weld Road, Elgin.

A gathering and review of silent auction items will begin at 11 a.m., with the luncheon at noon.

Tickets for the luncheon and fashion show event are $40 for the luncheon or $60 with 11 raffle tickets with proceeds supporting scholarships for senior high school students talented in the fine arts.

Last year's event awarded nine scholarships to recipients in the Fox Valley area.

All friends of the arts are welcome to join Beaux Arts members for an enjoyable fall afternoon of fine arts, fun and fashion.
