One killed in Evanston shooting

Police remain on the scene of a shooting in the 1700 block of Leland Avenue in Evanston.

Authorities have reported that one man was killed in the shooting that took place at about 11 p.m. overnight.

Authorities did not release the identity of the person killed.

Evanston police did not immediately return calls for comment.
