Stick to the positive
How completely disgusting is the promotion for many of those running for political office now. Some have worked side by side providing services to the citizens of Illinois and now people in the same party are going at it like they want to kill one another. Are these same juveniles going to run our state and federal government offices? Is it any wonder that conditions are so bad nowadays and at all government levels - we are broke!
Recently, a phone call from hell came in the form of a recording. The wife of a young candidate talked about how awful it was that a rival of her husband said some terrible things about her man. I wonder if that lady had listened to herself? Boy, if she didn't go to witches training school, no one did.
Our country has gone to war over less than some of these candidates are throwing back and forth. In the private sector, what you offer us in your messages would never gain you any work and you would be out of business in no time.
There are major flaws in a system that brings out the worst in people. Why would we vote for a venom-speaking person to take care of our important and official business? It would be best for all involved if you negative people just got out of town ... now.
Yes, we have freedom of choice. And if you have noticed, more than 50 percent of our voters have often decided not to vote in many elections. Is your stated goal, everyone should just stay home on election day? Why - you and a friend (you must have one) can count both votes and be done with it.
We want to know the positive of having you work for us and could care less if you think your opponent is a moron. The ever popular closing to political messages "and I approve of this message" was not heard at the conclusion of the lady's rant.
