Elgin
Rene Espino, 19, of the 500 block of Center Street, Elgin, was charged Tuesday with residential burglary, according to a police report. Police responded to a burglary in progress call on the 400 block of North Grove Avenue and arrested Espino nearby. Jewelry, a watch and other items taken from the home were found near Espino, who was identified as the offender by the residents of the home.
