Bike Palatine Club to hold CycleFest 2013 on Saturday
The Bike Palatine Club will host CycleFest 2013 at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, as part of Downtown Palatine Street Fest.
The event offers a casual, family friendly ride through the streets and paths of Palatine with the support of a map, route markings, a bike shop and rovers. Registration will take place from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. at Towne Square, Smith Road and Slade Street. The entry fee is $25.
The event will raise money for improvements outlined in Palatine’s bike plan. For more information, visit bikepalatine.com.
