Residents invited to meet Des Plaines cops

The Des Plaines Police Department is inviting residents to join police officers for “Coffee with a Cop” 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 at McDonald’s, 1101 E. Oakton St.

“The two-hour session will allow our residents the opportunity to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know Des Plaines police officers,” Des Plaines Police Chief Bill Kushner said in a news release. “The sessions will be informal so plan on attending and bring a friend.”
