Bartlett Blue 9U grab second tournament win

Bartlett Blue 9U All Stars secured their second tournament championship at the Mount Prospect “Best in Baseball” Tournament in July.

The tournament featured 12 All Star teams from the Chicago area including teams from Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Hamlin Park, River Forest, Park Ridge, Dunham Park, Addison, Norridge, Wasco and Mount Prospect.

The Bartlett Blue 9U All Stars defeated Hamlin Park (3-2), Dunham Park (12-1), and Arlington Cardinals (9-5) in the “Championship Bracket” to bring home the hardware. The team ended their post season with a record of 10-3-1 including two championship wins and one third-place finish in tournament play.
