Knight of Patriotism Dinner Dance to benefit group working for veterans
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Assembly 2410, of the Knights of Columbus will be hosting the sixth annual Knight of Patriotism Dinner Dance to benefit Salute, Inc., a nonprofit organization, that pursues meeting the financial, physical and emotional needs of military service members, veterans and their families.
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Assembly 2410, of the Knights of Columbus is composed of 4th Degree Knights from Our Lady of the Grove Council 13448 of Buffalo Grove, the Regina Council 4837 of Wheeling, the Holy Rosary Council 4483 of Arlington Heights and the Mount Prospect Council 6481.
Salute assists needy families and veterans affected by wars in the Middle East, as well as, those who have selflessly served our country in other times of war and peace. The dinner dance event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, at St. Joseph the Worker Church Social Hall in Wheeling. It will feature dancing to the music of “Sound of the Big Band Orchestra,” a buffet dinner, raffles, auctions, games and many surprises.
Dinner reservations are $40 per person or $380 for a table for 10. Reservation cutoff date is Wednesday, Sept. 18.
Seating is limited to 300 guests, so early reservations are encouraged.

Any organizations, businesses or individuals that are interested in making tax deductible donations of items, services or gift certificates for the raffles and auctions, or cash donations, to help defray costs of the event, can contact the event chairman. All donors will be recognized and included in the program booklet to be distributed to each guest. All proceeds of the event will go to Salute, Inc.
