타 Several AT&T and Comcast boxes were reported painted with graffiti at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday at South Raddant Road and Eckman Drive; the 2100 and 2200 block of Raddant; South Raddant Road and Stiers Court; Raddant Road and Moorehead Drive; and South Randall Road and Edwards Drive, according to a police report.

타 Johnny Tevin Thompson, 18, who is homeless, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana, police said. According to reports, Thompson was a passenger in a car that was pulled over at 5:56 p.m. Aug. 15 at Chesapeake Bay and Delaware Court in Geneva, according to a sheriff’s report.

타 A resident of the 7N800 block of Woodcliff Drive near South Elgin stopped an unauthorized purchase of $537 at noon Tuesday after getting a call from an office supply store that an order was ready to be shipped, according to a sheriff’s report. However, the report said, two more unauthorized purchases totaling $722 were made at locations in Ohio and Washington, D.C.

타 Several mailboxes were stolen off their posts sometime between Monday night to Tuesday morning near St. Charles, according to a sheriff’s report. The incidents occurred on the 35W40 block of Elder Avenue, the 6N900 block of Tuscola Avenue, and 34W800 block of North James Drive.
