Vote against Ayers right thing to do

University of Illinois Board Chairman Chris Kennedy is to be commended for voting to refuse emeritus status to the urban terrorist William Ayers. Mr. Ayers should have been jailed for his actions in the '60s as Weatherman and would have been but for a technicality.

Mr. Ayers should not receive such an honor from the university because of his remorseless actions with the Weather Underground and dedicating his book to the assassin of Robert F. Kennedy, Sirhan Sirhan.
