People step forward to help man who fell

On Saturday, Aug. 3, my husband fell off a ladder onto the concrete driveway. I wish to thank the wonderful woman who saw him on the ground, stopped her car, and came to help him. Thank you for keeping him in your prayers.

I want to also thank the Buffalo Grove fire and police departments for coming to his aid so quickly. You showed kindness and professionalism to both my husband and I.

I know the fire department/paramedics are facing a reduction in personnel despite already being four people short through attrition due to the Buffalo Grove village trustees and managers, but without ALL of you there today, my husband and I possibly would not have had the necessary number of people to help him and I at the same time.

Thank you for all of the great work you all do.
