Three hurt in Lincolnshire crash

Three people were injured in a four-car crash Sunday morning in Lincolnshire.

The crash occurred about 11:30 a.m. on Milwaukee Avenue just north of Illinois Route 22, said Lincolnshire Fire Department spokesman Paul Schebel.

Two people were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville and a third to Highland Park Hospital, Schebel said. None of the injuries were life threatening, he said.

The portion of the road where the crash occurred is under construction and reduced to one lane each direction. The incident is still under investigation, but Schebel said no construction workers were injured in the crash.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
