Those here illegally shouldn’t be hired

We don’t have a broken immigration system. We just don’t enforce our laws. Why?

What is so complicated, and who are the enablers? Why are benefits afforded to illegals? Why do employers openly hire undocumented immigrants who flagrantly change their names and make up Social Security numbers.

I keep waiting for Rep. Luis Gutierrez to be arrested for aiding and abetting. Does he not shelter the undocumented?

I agree with Joan Baillie of Wauconda (June 27) in challenging the congressman that if 11 million illegal immigrants are here, aren’t they criminals?
