Construction coming to Route 22

A section of eastbound Route 22 in Lincolnshire will be down to one lane starting Thursday, officials announced. Starting at 9 a.m., a private contractor will replace underground pipes between Oxford and Riverwoods roads. The altered traffic pattern will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for up to five days. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes where possible.
