Police: Inverness teen streaked at Fremd-Palatine game
Palatine police arrested a streaker who took to the gridiron Oct. 6 during the Fremd High School football game against Palatine High.
A 17-year-old student from Inverness, wearing only gym shoes and a mask, started out at Fremd’s southern end zone and ran to about the 20-yard line on the north end before he was brought down by police.
Police wouldn’t identify the teen, who was charged with public indecency and disorderly conduct. The local ordinance violations carry a fine and/or community service.
Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 spokesman Tom Petersen wouldn’t say whether the student is being disciplined.
Palatine topped Fremd 28-7 in the 45th meeting of the crosstown rivalry.
