Criticism of Obama doesn’t mean racism
Who are the true racists? When will racism really become a thing of the past?
When many can finally come down from this self-righteous pedestal they’ve placed themselves on just for voting and electing the country’s first black man to the presidency. When people, black and white, can freely judge Barack Obama on his character alone without being accused of racism or being an “Uncle Tom.”
The evidence of what Obama has done and hasn’t done that’s been so destructive to this country will not melt away in 10 or 20 years. Who judges his record honestly over this time with no fear of racist criticism will be evidence as to where we’ve come on this issue of racism. Ignoring truth for fear of being labeled something that isn’t true is no less damaging to the eradication of racism than ignoring any act of racism and pretending it doesn’t exist. Making blanket assumptions about people as being racist because those people don’t like what a black politician is doing, things that have nothing to do with racial issues, must come to end. Dishonest people who create wedge issues with race for their own advantage must be exposed for what they are.
Ask yourself this. Just who are the people doing these things lately and getting away with it?
