Des Plaines Garden Club Installs New Officers & Honors 25 Year Members

During the March meeting of the Des Plaines Garden Club, the members had the pleasure of Susan Cooney, President of Garden Club of Illinois, install Susan Boyajian as 1st. Vice President, Bob Nicholson as Treasurer and Anne Scanlan as Recording Secretary. Also honored and receiving a 25 year Life Membership name tag were Ann Ostenson and Marsha Lucia. Chairpersons of committees were announced with each receiving a fresh carnation along with the Community Gardens Volunteers who maintain the 4 Community gardens throughout Des Plaines.
