Open house at Wauconda fire station

The Wauconda Fire District will hold an open house for the public on Saturday. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Station No. 1, 109 W. Liberty St., Wauconda. Various firefighting and rescue demonstrations are planned. Hot dogs, popcorn and drinks will be available. Admission is free. For more information, email mdavalle@waucondafire.org.
