Temptations coming to Genesee

The Temptations, the legendary Motown pop music phenomenon famed for such hits as “My Girl” and “Runaway Child,” is set to perform at Waukegan's Genesee Theatre on Saturday, Feb. 5, as part of a tour celebrating the ensemble's 50th Anniversary.

The quintet of Temptations performers currently features Ron Tyson, Terry Weeks, Joe Herndon, Bruce Williamson and Otis Williams, the only living original member of the band.

Tickets for the Waukegan engagement, priced between $35 to $55, go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, and can be purchased through the Genesee Theatre box office at (847) 263-6300 or by visiting geneseetheatre.com.
