Schaumburg man pleads guilty to aggravated battery

A Schaumburg man has pleaded guilty to aggravated battery in a case involving an 11-year-old girl.

Joseph Jasser was sentenced to two years probation in exchange for his guilty plea, court records show.

According to prosecutors, the incident took place sometime between August and December 2012, when he took the girl to a fast-food restaurant for ice cream.

Jasser was also ordered to pay $459 in fines.
