Dog adoption event:

Our House of Hope K-9 Rescue hosts an adoption event from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the Dog Lounge day care and spa in Pets General Store, 432 Peterson Road, in the Country Court shopping center, Libertyville. Visitors can meet and mix with adoptable dogs and there will be raffles and refreshments, as well as a food supply drive to help the everyday needs of the rescue organization.
