Crafting valentines: Aurora church continues Wednesday Night Gatherings

Continuing its Wednesday Night Gatherings series, Wesley United Methodist Church in Aurora will hold a free dinner and family activity on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

The community is invited to this free event, which begins at 6 p.m. at the church, 14 N. May St.

Michelle Curiel, Wesley children and family director, said the event will open with a free supper.

After dinner, families are invited to make Valentine's Day cards until 8 p.m.

A Feb. 15 dinner and activity will be announced.

Wesley United Methodist Church launched community gatherings on first and third Wednesdays in September with a pasta and painting event.

The church holds Sunday services online at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m. in the church sanctuary.
