City is mishandling ash borer situation

I have read articles in your newspaper about what Mount Prospect is doing to protect their ash trees, such as hosting a seminar to learn how to protect them.

Now Des Plaines, in many neighborhoods, is chopping down all the beautiful trees in case they come infected. The prices of our homes are already in the toilet and who wants to buy almost 60-year-old homes with nothing but “sticks” out in front.

We have some real idiots running this town and they should all be removed. Thanks a lot!
