Lake County woman appointed:

Peggy O’Connor, of Highland Park, has been appointed to the Advisory Council of the Agency on Aging of Northeastern Illinois. She will serve a three-year term as a Lake County representative on the council. O’Connor is the coordinator of the Grandparents Raising Grandchildren program for Lake and McHenry counties, through the University of Illinois Extension Services. She is a member of the Illinois Task Force for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, and is also active in the Community Partnership for Affordable Housing in Highland Park and in other civic and professional organizations.
