Poll Vault: Have you ever served on a jury?

We’ve had some high-profile trials recently in the suburbs.

Two verdicts in major cases were handed down Tuesday in DuPage County: Johnny Borizov of Willow Springs was convicted of orchestrating a triple murder in Darien, and Gordon Vanderark, formerly of Wheaton, was found guilty of soliciting the murder of not only his wife but also of a prosecutor and a judge.

In both trials, the jury deliberated less than a day.
