District 50 honors retirees:

Woodland Elementary District 50 has recognized 15 retirees for the 2012-13 school year. They are: Elaine Brya, Cathy Burke, Fernando Delgado, Patrick Ferrara, Kathleen Gedemer, Sue Laferriere, Roberta Magera, Christina Miller, Debra Moberg, Debra Nemeth, Mary Noonan, Nancy Ogden, Patricia Petitclair, Melinda Tomlinson and Kathleen Wojnicki. “Thank you for your service and dedication to the district,” said Superintendent of Schools Joy A. Swoboda. “Each of you brought different talents and strengths to the district and in your various capacities, you were able to support the children we serve.” The retirees were formally honored at a dinner earlier this month.
