Naperville driving range to be dedicated

The driving range at Naperbrook Golf Course will be dedicated as the “Glen Ekey Driving Range” in a brief ceremony at 11 a.m. May 18 at 22204 W. 111th St., Plainfield.

Glen Ekey was an influential Naperville Park District director serving from 1981-1996 during a period of rapid growth in the community. RSVP: golfpromo@napervilleparks.org.

Before the dedication, Meadow Glens Park also will be reopened after improvements from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at 1303 Muirhead Drive, Naperville. The redeveloped park includes a loop fitness trail, a nature playground, a restroom building, a picnic shelter, and other amenities. RSVP: rsvp@napervilleparks.org.
