Bread & Butter Cafe celebrates grand opening in Prospect Heights

Bread & Butter Cafe has opened in the Prospect Crossing shopping center, 1279 N. Rand Road, in Prospect Heights.

City officials announced Mayor Nicholas Helmer made a special appearance Saturday at the restaurant's grand opening ceremony.

Menu offerings include omelettes, loaded oatmeal, pancakes, country-fried steak and breakfast burritos.
