Hawks president to speak at Glenbard North
Chicago Blackhawks President John McDonough will discuss the Stanley Cup and his perspective on setting and achieving goals during an appearance at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 9, in the Glenbard North High School gym, 990 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream.
The event is open to the public and doors will open at 5 p.m. Admission is one or more canned goods per person. The food will be donated to Lutheran Church of the Master Food Pantry in Carol Stream.
The Glenbard North Athletic Boosters will conduct a raffle for a vinyl banner signed by McDonough after his appearance. Proceeds will go to the boosters' scholarship fund.
