Leo Club pet food drive a big success

During the month of December the Elk Grove Leo Club, a teen branch of the Lions Club, held a pet food drive benefiting the Elk Grove food pantry and Almost Home Foundation. With the help of area businesses and Elk Grove Village Community Centers we were able to collect 1,150 pet related items.

On behalf of the Leo Club we would like to thank the following.

In Elk Grove Village: Jewel; Great Clips; Elk Grove Chiropractic; Grove Junior High; Elk Grove High School; Val Norris; Byrd Elementary School; the Elk Grove Lions and Lioness Clubs; the Al Hattendorf Center; the Pavilion and the Elk Grove Library.

In Arlington Heights: the Arlington Heights Animal Hospital and The Academy of Dog and Cat Grooming Arts.

We would also like to thank Linda Blair at Elk Grove Village Hall for all of her help. Thanks to all the people who generously donated.

Rachel Mia Kaim
