Palatine approves plans for indoor family game center

Palatine officials this week approved plans for an indoor family game and activity center at the site of the former Brunswick bowling alley, 519 S. Consumers Ave. The council granted a parking variance that allows 187 spaces instead of the required 204 spaces. Representatives of the company, Happenings FFC, said the facility will offer inflatables, arcade games, batting cages, a multipurpose area, mini-bowling, gaming and dining.
