Bridges named circuit court judge

Associate Lake County Judge George Bridges has been appointed a circuit judge, officials announced Friday. Bridges will fill the post now held by Judge David M. Hall, who is retiring next month. Bridges has been a judge since 1995. He previously had worked in the state’s attorney’s office and twice served as Waukegan’s police chief.
